Manlentines Day Movies

We men have feelings too, right?? We like a little romance in a movie... surrounded by a bunch of stuff blowing up, gunfights, Arrows blazing, and fast cars. We always tend to get the short end of the stick on V-day.

I'm Declaring this year as Manlentines Day!! We are gonna get our significant other to watch one of our favorite
 (cough, cough) "Romance" Movies.

Here at SS77 we are gonna give you a list of the Best Manlentines Day Movies.

The Last of the Mohicans

Daniel Day Lewis, Tomahawks, Indians, Soldiers, Scalping... This is a true cinematic Man Romance or I like to call Manlentines Movie. Madeline Stowe and Daniel Day Lewis have great chemistry in this film, and I still think it's one of Michael Mann's best. Travel back in time to the French an Indian wars for your special Manlentines Day.

A Knights Tale

If you are looking for a Bromantic comedy for that special day... look no further than A Knights Tale. The soundtrack alone to this movie is just fantastic. Heath Ledger, Dueling Knights, Swords, Villains... it's all here. Even some fun romance... and a weird dance scene. Ha!!

Casino Royale

Bond in love?? Nah... can't be. Casino Royale is my favorite Bond of all time, simply for the fact we see Bond vulnerable to a woman. I loved SkyFall a lot, but Casino Royale is just perfect in every way. You have to have Bond on a top Man film list.
Your significant other can't say this isn't a romantic movie either.
Vesper Lynd: Am I going to have a problem with you, Mr. Bond?
James Bond: No, don't worry, you're not my type.
Vesper Lynd: Smart?
James Bond: Single.

Empire Strikes Back

Just look at the movie poster and you know this is pure Masculinity at it's finest. Han and Leia are the romance in this, followed by the best Star Wars film to date.
This is the ultimate Manlentines Day Movie!!!!

The Matrix

Mr. Anderson. The Matrix has Neo and Trinity two star crossed lovers who's fate has yet to be decided.... at least that is what you say to your mate. Haha!! The Matrix is perfect for this special day, with that certain someone.

Troy

I don't foresee you having a hard time getting her to watch Brad Pitt frolic around in a skirt on a beach for 2+ hrs. Troy is badass and I love it. I love the scene with Peter O Toole and Brad Pitt, that was a classic scene. Get your freak on with this trojan horse of a Valentines movie.

The Mask of Zorro

"Because you know Zorro..... He could be anywhere."
Martin Campbell who directed Casino Royale, years later helms this fine ode to Zorro. Anthony Hopkins and Antonio Banderas seek revenge in this fast paced hero film. Catherine Zeta Jones rocked the film world when she starred as Elena the daughter of the infamous masked vigilante.

Return of the King

Winner of Best Picture and Best Director. Return of the King concludes our journey through middle earth in the LOTR trilogy. (in a dramatic voice) Aragorn and Arwen share of love that may or may not endure. < That is what you say... and then you're golden.

These are just a few of the possibilities to take over the holiday that is Valentines. Share some of your favorite Bromance movies in the comments below. Remember even if it's just a hint a love or romance.. you are justified in your request to watch with that special someone.

Happy Manlentines Day!!
